Neusiedlersee

Neusiedlersee is the warm Burgenland home of Zweigelt, the Austrian DAC where the grape is undisputed king. Ripened on the flat, sun-baked eastern shore of the shallow steppe lake that gives the region its name, it is a juicy, medium-bodied red of ripe sour cherry, red plum and violet, with soft tannin, a gentle peppery lift and bright but rounded acidity.
