Château-Grillet

Château-Grillet is a tiny walled monopole enclosed within Condrieu in the Northern Rhône — one of France's smallest appellations and a single estate all to itself — making a rare, age-worthy pure Viognier. It keeps the grape's exotic apricot, honeysuckle and white-peach perfume but frames it in a fuller, more mineral and structured body built for the cellar rather than for early drinking.
