Alentejo (Touriga Nacional)

Alentejo Touriga Nacional is the warm, sun-soaked southern face of Portugal's finest red grape: where the cool Douro and Dao give it lift and grip, the hot plains of the Alentejo ripen it fuller and rounder, into a plush, generous red of jammy black fruit, sweet spice and soft, supple tannin. It trades some of the variety's floral, high-acid tension for ripeness, weight and easy drinkability, while keeping the deep purple-black colour and dark-fruited core.
