Rioja

Rioja is Spain's most famous red wine and the benchmark for Tempranillo: a medium-to-full-bodied, garnet-hued red from the upper Ebro valley of northern Spain that layers red cherry and dried fig over leather and savoury earth, with the unmistakable dill, coconut and vanilla sweetness of long ageing in American oak.
