Navarra

Navarra is Rioja's supple, fruit-forward neighbour: a bright, medium-bodied red from northern Spain where Tempranillo is very often rounded out with Garnacha (Grenache) to give ripe red cherry and plum, gentle oak spice and a soft, approachable frame. Less austere and less heavily oaked than classic Rioja, it is Tempranillo at its most easy-drinking and food-friendly.
