Hermitage Blanc

Hermitage Blanc is Roussanne's noblest home: a powerful, aromatic dry white from the steep granite hill above Tain-l'Hermitage in the northern Rhône, where Roussanne is blended with the broader Marsanne into one of France's longest-lived white wines. It marries pear, honeysuckle and herbal-tea perfume to a rich, waxy body and a fine mineral core, and famously shuts down for a decade before re-emerging honeyed, nutty and profound.
