Châteauneuf-du-Pape Blanc is the rich, sun-drenched white face of Roussanne: a full-bodied, textured dry wine from the warm Southern Rhône, grown on the appellation's famous heat-hoarding galets roulés, that trades northern leanness for breadth, weight and a perfume of white peach, honey, fennel and Provençal herbs over a broad, savoury, age-worthy palate.
