Wachau Riesling is the dry, powerful, mineral face of the grape: a bone-dry Austrian white grown on steep primary-rock terraces along a dramatic bend of the Danube. Warmed by Pannonian air and cooled by the northern forests, it combines ripe apricot, peach and citrus with concentrated fruit, stony minerality and a refined, racy acidity — fuller and higher in alcohol than a delicate German Mosel, yet never sweet.
