Pfalz

Riesling from the Pfalz is Germany's ripest, fullest expression of the grape: a mostly bone-dry (trocken) white of generous weight and juicy rather than piercing acidity, built on yellow stone fruit, ripe orchard apple and a warm spice. Grown in the sun-soaked, sheltered Palatinate on the German Wine Route, it trades the featherweight delicacy of the Mosel for power, breadth and a warmer-climate richness.
