Alsace Riesling is the noble dry expression of the grape from the sheltered, sun-soaked Alsace region of north-eastern France, between the Vosges mountains and the Rhine. Almost always fermented bone-dry and bottled in the tall flute du Rhin, it is fuller-bodied, riper and higher in alcohol than its German cousin, leading with lime and citrus, white peach and stone fruit over a steely minerality, gaining the grape's famous petrol note with age.
