Hermitage Blanc

Hermitage Blanc is the grandest expression of Marsanne: a powerful, deep-gold, age-worthy white from the granite hill of Hermitage in France's Northern Rhône, usually Marsanne-dominant with a splash of Roussanne. Where lighter whites chase crispness, this trades high acidity for weight, texture and depth — white peach, almond, honeysuckle and beeswax in youth that age to a honeyed, nutty, marmalade richness over one to two decades.
