Campo de Borja is the self-styled "Empire of Garnacha" — a small Denominación de Origen in the northwest of Spain's Aragón region whose old, dry-farmed bush vines make some of the world's most generous and best-value Garnacha. Grown on stony, sun-baked slopes rising toward the Moncayo massif, it is a warm-climate, fruit-forward red bursting with juicy red cherry and raspberry over sweet spice, with a round, supple body, gentle tannins and low acidity.
