Sannio Greco is the broader, everyday Campanian face of the Greco grape: a dry white made under the large Sannio DOC across the hills of Benevento, inland from the more famous Greco di Tufo. Grown at generally lower, warmer sites than the tuff-and-sulphur cru around Tufo, it is riper, rounder and more approachable — a peach-, citrus- and almond-scented white with a firm, savoury, slightly saline bite, built to drink young with the seafood and vegetable dishes of the Campanian table.
