Valdeorras

Valdeorras is the spiritual home of Godello: a dry, textured, mineral white from the slate slopes above the river Sil in eastern Galicia, and the benchmark against which every other Godello is judged. It marries ripe pear, lemon and white peach to a broad, saline palate and firm acidity, in a style that can be crisp and stony from stainless steel or richer and creamier when fermented and aged on its lees.
