Cortese dell'Alto Monferrato

Cortese dell'Alto Monferrato is the light, everyday face of Piedmont's Cortese grape — a dry white grown across the Alto Monferrato hills of Alessandria and Asti, beyond the more celebrated Gavi zone. Simpler and more delicate than Gavi di Gavi, it is crisp, low in alcohol and bright with green apple, lemon and white flowers, closing on the grape's signature hint of bitter almond.
