Cilento Fiano

Cilento Fiano is the sunnier, sea-facing face of Campania's great white grape: grown along the warm Cilento coast south of Salerno rather than in the cool, high hills of Avellino, it trades some of that inland tautness for a rounder, riper, more open style of ripe orchard fruit, Mediterranean herbs, toasted nuts and a distinct saline, coastal edge. It stays dry and savoury, but reads warmer and softer than its benchmark cousin, Fiano di Avellino.
