Recioto della Valpolicella

Recioto della Valpolicella is the sweet, dried-grape red of Verona — the ancient wine of the Veneto and the direct ancestor of Amarone. Made from Corvina grapes shrivelled for months on drying racks and then only partly fermented, it keeps a rich seam of natural sweetness: lush and velvety, with dried cherry, fig, chocolate and raisin, all held in balance by Corvina's signature fresh acidity.
