Adelaide Hills Chardonnay is the cool, high-altitude face of Australian Chardonnay: grown in the ranges just east of Adelaide at some of mainland Australia's highest, coolest elevations, it trades the ripe, buttery weight of warm-country Chardonnay for elegant restraint — nectarine, white flower and citrus carried on fine, bright acidity, a subtle flinty reduction and a light creamy oak frame.
