Rosé Champagne is the pink expression of the benchmark traditional-method sparkling wine of northern France: a bottle-fermented blend coloured salmon to copper-pink by the dark Pinot Noir and Meunier, layering ripe red-berry fruit over Champagne's toasty, biscuity autolytic base while keeping the bracing acidity and fine, persistent mousse of the style.
