Niagara Peninsula Cabernet Franc is Ontario's signature red: a cool-climate, lake-moderated expression of the grape grown between Lake Ontario and the Niagara Escarpment on glacial clay, silt and limestone soils. It leads with bright red cherry and raspberry, a distinctive bell-pepper and dried-herb edge, and brisk, food-friendly acidity over supple, moderate tannin.
