Bouzeron

Bouzeron is the one and only village appellation dedicated to Aligoté, and the grape's most serious expression: a fuller, more mineral Burgundian white from a single cool valley in the northern Côte Chalonnaise. Where basic Aligoté is thin and sharp, Bouzeron trades some of that austerity for real weight and length — green apple and lemon lifted by white flowers and a nutty, hazelnut edge over a taut, chalky, saline finish.
