Unicum is a Hungarian herbal bitters (kräuterlikör-style amaro) made by the Zwack family since 1790, bottled at around 40% ABV. Dark brown, syrupy and intensely bitter-medicinal, it blends more than forty herbs and spices into a cola-and-clove aroma over a firm, drying bitterness — the archetypal Hungarian digestif.
