Liqueur
Tia Maria
Tia Maria is a dark, coffee-flavoured liqueur with Jamaican roots, built from cold-brew Blue Mountain coffee, vanilla and sugar over a rum base — lighter in body and noticeably less sweet than its better-known Mexican rival Kahlúa, with a cleaner, more aromatic coffee character.

Caramel
Dark and glossy in the glass, Tia Maria leads with a fragrant roasted-coffee aroma lifted by sweet vanilla and burnt-sugar caramel, the cold-brew method keeping the coffee note bright rather than stewed. On the palate it is sweet but noticeably less cloying than a heavier coffee liqueur, the sugar balanced by genuine coffee bitterness and a warm, faintly molasses-like rum backbone. The body is comparatively light and clean, the alcohol gentle at around a fifth ABV, and the finish lingers on roasted coffee and vanilla with a soft, chocolatey bitterness.
