Liqueur
St-Germain
St-Germain is a French elderflower liqueur, bottled at around 20% ABV, made by macerating hand-picked blossoms of the European elder (Sambucus nigra). Pale gold and delicately sweet, it leads with a heady muscat-floral elderflower perfume over notes of lychee, pear and a soft citrus lift, and is prized as a fragrant modifier in cocktails.

Honey
St-Germain leads with an intense, heady muscat-floral elderflower perfume over honeyed grape, lychee and pear, with a soft citrus top note and only a faint bitterness on the finish; the muscat character comes from terpenes such as linalool and cis-rose oxide carried in the flower. It is sweet and syrupy on the palate with a low, gentle alcohol presence at around twenty percent ABV, and is made to be diluted, where it perfumes and lightly sweetens a drink rather than dominating it.
