Peanut candy is a broad family of hard or fudge-like confections made by binding roasted, ground or chopped peanuts in a matrix of cooked sugar, syrup or molasses. It ranges from the brittle, glassy bars sold across Asia to the crumbly, sugar-bound Latin American pé-de-moleque and mamallada and the soft "peanut butter fudge" of North America.
