The oroblanco (Spanish for "white gold") is a sweet, low-bitterness citrus — a seedless cross of an acidless pomelo (Citrus maxima) and a white grapefruit (Citrus × paradisi) bred at the University of California, Riverside. Larger than a grapefruit but milder and far less bitter, it has a thick yellow-green rind and pale greenish-white flesh that is sweet enough to eat out of hand without sugar.
