The navel is the world's favourite eating orange — a seedless, easy-peel, sweet and low-acid fruit named for the small navel-like dimple at its blossom end, where a tiny second, undeveloped fruit grows nested inside the first. Bred entirely by grafting from a single chance mutation, every navel orange alive is essentially a clone.
These cues are Orange's, and hold across its varieties; where this one differs, its own page says so.
