Marang (Artocarpus odoratissimus) is a large tropical fruit from Borneo and the southern Philippines, a close relative of jackfruit and breadfruit. Beneath its spiny green rind lies a cluster of soft, white, intensely sweet and aromatic arils prized across island Southeast Asia.
