Mandarine Napoléon

Mandarine Napoléon is a deep-amber Belgian liqueur built by macerating Mediterranean tangerine and mandarin peel in aged cognac, then sweetening and blending the infusion with herbs and spices — a candied-orange sweetness wrapped around genuine brandy warmth, bottled at around thirty-eight percent alcohol by volume.

Deep amber and syrupy, Mandarine Napoléon opens with a vivid candied-mandarin and orange-peel aroma — the sweet, oily zest of Mediterranean tangerines — lifted by warm cognac notes of vanilla, dried fruit and oak, with a faint herbal-spice undertone from its proprietary blend. On the palate it is intensely sweet and fruity, the candied citrus giving way to brandy heat and a slightly bitter-peel edge on the finish; at around thirty-eight percent ABV the alcohol is assertive for a liqueur, and the aftertaste lingers on orange, oak and a gentle spirituous warmth.
