Malta

Malta is a dark, carbonated non-alcoholic malt beverage brewed from barley malt, hops and sugar, tasting of toasted grain, molasses and dark caramel with a bittersweet, almost cola-like richness. Beloved across the Caribbean, Latin America and West Africa, it is essentially an unfermented "beer" — the wort of a brew stopped before it turns to alcohol — and is entirely distinct from malted milk.
