The loganberry (Rubus × loganobaccus) is a hybrid bramble fruit, a cross between the blackberry and the raspberry that first arose in a California garden in 1881. The fruit is long, conical and a deep wine-red, sharply tart with a perfumed raspberry aroma, prized for jam, juice, pie and country wine more than for eating out of hand.
