Micro kohlrabi is ordinary kohlrabi (Brassica oleracea var. gongylodes) harvested as a microgreen — a tiny seedling 4–8 cm tall, cut about one to three weeks after sowing once its first pair of seed-leaves has greened up. Eaten raw as a garnish or in salads, it delivers a concentrated, clean kohlrabi flavour — a fresh, sweet-mild cross of cabbage, broccoli stem and radish with a faint peppery bite — long before the plant ever forms its trademark swollen stem.
These cues are Kohlrabi's, and hold across its varieties; where this one differs, its own page says so.
