Honeybush

Honeybush is a herbal tisane brewed from the leaves and fine stems of shrubs in the genus Cyclopia, broom-like legumes endemic to the fynbos of South Africa's Cape fold mountains. Named for the warm, honey-like scent of its bright-yellow flowers, it is naturally caffeine-free and low in tannin, brewing to a smooth amber liquor that is gently sweet, floral and honeyed — milder and rounder than true tea, and often described as a sweeter, more aromatic cousin of rooibos.
