Garibaldi
The Garibaldi is the two-ingredient Italian aperitivo of Campari and fresh orange juice — Campari built over ice in a tall glass and lengthened with a generous pour of fresh- squeezed orange, glowing bright orange and running around 11 percent alcohol. Simple, refreshing and bittersweet, it is the gentlest and most drinkable of the Campari classics, and its modern craft form turns the juice light and frothy.

Glowing bright orange under a pale frothy head, the Garibaldi smells of fresh-squeezed orange and the aromatic bitter-orange botanicals of Campari. On the palate it is juicy and bittersweet — the natural sweetness and acidity of the orange up front, then Campari's signature rhubarb-and-bitter-orange bitterness underneath, with a light herbal lift and a clean, gently bitter finish. The aerated 'fluffy' juice of the craft version gives it a fuller, almost creamy body that softens the bitterness further, making it long, refreshing and easy to drink at around 11 percent alcohol in the glass.
