French Martini
The French Martini is a fruity 1980s-90s cocktail of vodka, black-raspberry Chambord liqueur and pineapple juice, shaken hard and strained up into a chilled cocktail glass with a signature frothy top. Deep rose-pink and off-dry, it is a Martini in silhouette only — served up in a stemmed glass but built on fruit and liqueur rather than gin and vermouth, making it one of the most approachable of the modern classics.

Honeyed
Rose-pink beneath a fine pale froth, the French Martini smells of ripe pineapple and jammy dark black-raspberry, with a soft honeyed and faintly vanilla sweetness from the Chambord and a clean, almost odourless vodka backbone. On the palate it is soft and off-dry — a jammy berry-and-pineapple sweetness set against bright tropical acidity that keeps it from cloying — with a light, frothy texture from the hard shake and a gentle, clean finish at around 18 percent alcohol in the glass. Fruity and easy-drinking, it hides its strength behind the fruit.
