The Persian cucumber (Cucumis sativus) is a short, slender, thin-skinned "Beit Alpha" or mini cucumber — typically 10–15 cm long and only a few centimetres thick, with smooth, bumpless bright-green skin, tiny soft seeds and sweet, crisp, almost bitter-free flesh. Sold loose in bunches or small bags rather than shrink-wrapped, it splits the difference between a stubby field pickling cucumber and a long English hothouse cucumber.
These cues are Cucumber's, and hold across its varieties; where this one differs, its own page says so.
