Crème de Pêche
Crème de pêche is a sweet French fruit liqueur that captures the aroma of ripe peaches — soft, floral and jammy — in a low-strength, sugar-rich spirit. The "crème" in its name signals not cream but the high sugar content that gives the style its syrupy body, making it a favourite modifier for sparkling wine and sours rather than a stand-alone digestif.

Floral
Intensely sweet and syrupy, crème de pêche leads with the aroma of ripe, sun-warmed peach — soft, downy and faintly floral, with a jammy, nectar-like ripeness. Beneath the fruit sits a heavy sugar syrup and, in kernel-influenced bottlings, a whisper of the almond-like benzaldehyde note from the peach stone. There is little bitterness and only gentle acidity; the alcohol is mild for a liqueur at around 15 to 20 percent ABV, so the fruit and sugar dominate. The texture is thick and rounded from the high sugar, and the finish lingers sweet, peachy and slightly honeyed — which is why it works so well loosening into sparkling wine and sours.
