Crème de Mandarine
Crème de mandarine is a sweet mandarin-orange crème liqueur — a neutral spirit or brandy heavily sweetened with sugar and steeped with mandarin and tangerine peel and fruit to about twenty to thirty percent alcohol by volume, giving a viscous, bright-orange cordial that leads with candied mandarin zest and fresh tangerine juice, used as a soft, juicy citrus modifier in cocktails, over desserts and in baking.

Tangerine
Intensely sweet and syrupy, crème de mandarine leads with candied mandarin zest and fresh tangerine juice, backed by orange-blossom florals, honey and a soft, low-acid sweetness that sets it apart from the sharper, oilier bite of a Seville-orange curaçao. A faint bitterness from the peel oils frames the finish and keeps the sugar from cloying. The texture is viscous and rounded, the alcohol soft for a spirit at roughly a fifth to a third ABV, and the aftertaste lingers sweet, juicy and unmistakably mandarin with a whisper of peel bitterness.
