Rwandan coffee is a bright, tea-like cup built on high-grown Bourbon washed at hillside cooperative stations above Lake Kivu. Expect red currant and orange lifting over a silky, refined body, with a whisper of blackcurrant and delicate florals. It drinks clean and elegant — closer to a fine black tea than to a heavy, roasty espresso.
