Sweetheart
Prunus avium 'Sweetheart' · Stone fruit
Top 10 pairings
Sweetheart is one of the latest-ripening sweet cherries, a large, firm, bright dark-red self-fertile cultivar bred in British Columbia and prized for extending the fresh cherry season well past the mid-summer peak. Its crisp flesh, glossy heart-shaped fruit and reliable self-pollination have made it a mainstay of late-season orchards worldwide.
