Micro broccoli is ordinary broccoli (Brassica oleracea var. italica) harvested as a microgreen — a tiny seedling 4–8 cm tall, cut about one to three weeks after sowing when its first pair of seed-leaves has greened up. Eaten raw as a garnish or in salads, it carries a vivid, concentrated broccoli-and-cabbage flavour with a fresh, slightly peppery bite, and is prized as a dense source of the same sulfur compounds that make mature broccoli famous.
These cues are Broccoli's, and hold across its varieties; where this one differs, its own page says so.
