Biriba (Rollinia deliciosa, now often placed as Annona mucosa) is a soft, custard-apple of the Amazon — a tropical fruit in the soursop family whose creamy white pulp tastes uncannily of lemon-meringue custard. Its rounded, heart- or kidney-shaped fruit is studded with fleshy conical knobs and ripens to a soft, bruise-prone yellow.
