Weizenbock is a strong German wheat beer — a bock made with a large proportion of wheat malt and fermented with hefeweizen yeast, marrying the banana-and-clove esters of a wheat beer to the rich, warming malt and higher strength of a bock, and appearing in both pale and dark forms.
