Saison is a Belgian farmhouse ale — historically brewed in the cooler months on the farms of French-speaking Wallonia to refresh seasonal harvest workers (saisonniers). Pale to deep gold and often hazy, it is bone-dry, highly carbonated and unmistakably driven by its yeast: peppery, spicy and fruity, with a bracing, thirst-quenching finish.
