Pale ale

Pale ale is a top-fermented beer brewed predominantly from pale malt, giving a clear amber-to-copper colour and a balanced character in which crisp hop bitterness and aroma play against a backbone of bready, biscuity malt. One of the defining ale families, it ranges from the soft, earthy English bitter to the bold, citrus-and-pine American pale ale.
