Amaro Sfumato Rabarbaro

Amaro Sfumato Rabarbaro is a smoky, bittersweet Italian-style rhubarb amaro built around Chinese rhubarb root, whose Italian name — sfumato — means "smoked" or "faded." Bottled at around 20% ABV, it pairs the earthy, drying, faintly medicinal bitterness of rabarbaro with a distinctive wisp of woodsmoke, giving a dark, savoury profile quite unlike the sweeter, cola-like Rabarbaro Zucca to which it is often compared.
