Amaro Meletti is an Italian herbal liqueur (amaro) from the Marche region, first produced in Ascoli Piceno in 1870. Softer and sweeter than most bitters, it leads with saffron, anise and gentian over notes of violet and caramel, and is bottled at around 32% ABV. It is drunk as a digestivo — neat, over ice, or splashed into coffee.
