Amaro Braulio is an Italian amaro alpino — a bittersweet, herb-based digestivo from the mountain town of Bormio in Valtellina, high in the Lombard Alps. Bottled at around 21% ABV, it has a bracing mountain-herb character built on gentian, juniper, wormwood and mint, with a faintly medicinal, almost menthol-cool edge over a firm, drying bitterness.
